1. Scope

This withdrawal policy applies exclusively to consumers. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession (Sec. 13 German Civil Code, BGB).

Business customers (entrepreneurs within the meaning of Sec. 14 BGB) have no statutory right of withdrawal. Purchases of business licenses and purchases made in the name of, or for the purposes of, a company, trade, or profession are business-to-business transactions and are excluded from this policy.

2. Right of withdrawal for consumers

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

3. Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

4. Premature expiry of the right of withdrawal for digital content

Our products are digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (software provided by download and license activation).

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if we have begun with the performance of the contract after you have

(a) expressly consented to us beginning with the performance of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period, and

(b) confirmed your knowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal upon the beginning of the performance of the contract.

By placing your order, accepting these terms at checkout, and receiving immediate access to the software download and license key, you grant this consent and confirmation. The right of withdrawal therefore expires upon delivery of the download access and license key.

5. Subscription renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel the renewal of your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The statutory right of withdrawal set out above applies only to the initial conclusion of the contract, not to automatic renewals of an existing contract.
